Club Background
We are a long established Club – formed in 1747
We are a FOCUS club
We have a thriving senior playing membership – between 75 and 80 senior playing members currently
In 2007, we fielded 3 sides on a Saturday and 2 on a Sunday
We have an ever-expanding Academy (over 200 members) with an excellent reputation in the area
The 1st and 2nd XIs have played in the Sussex Invitation League since its inception
In 2008, these sides will play in Division 3 of the County League
The 3rd XI, the Swans, play in the Stoner Mid Sussex Cricket League and gained promotion from Division 3 in 2007 after finishing 2nd
In 2008, we will enter a 4th XI, the Cygnets into the Stoner Mid Sussex League

For all XIs to maximise their performance levels
To ensure the continued success of the club through successful integration of Academy players into senior cricket
Senior Cricket
We cater for all levels with 4 XIs on a Saturday & 2 XIs on a Sunday
Senior practice every Thursday night throughout the season
Senior Winter nets at Hove from end Jan through to end April
Pre-season nets at Great Walstead School throughout March & April
A team plays in the Dolphin Indoor Cricket League during the winter
Cricket Week & Lindfield Sixes held in August
Academy Cricket
We have a membership in excess of 200 (ages 6-17)
We have age group sides at U9 through to U16
We have an Academy Director
We have 19 qualified coaches
Academy training takes place on Friday evenings & Sunday mornings
We are closely integrated with the Sussex representative structure
Our Set-Up
Home is Lindfield Common – all 1st XI & 2nd XI games are played here
3rd XI & 4th XI games are played at Great Walstead School & Hickman's Lane
We are in discussions with the council re a 2nd pitch on The Common
We have submitted an application for additional net facilities
We have planning permission to extend our pavilion

Club has a licensed bar and is open after all home games
Social Committee ensures regular activities throughout the season
‘First Friday of the Month’ throughout the close season
